LianeAfter many years of not updating my blog theme, I’ve finally found a modern one that is free and has features I like! Here’s a description of Top Blog by Firefly Themes:

What prompted this sudden change of blog? Well, my Beachbody contract is ending and the agency asked me if I was updating my website… so I did some updates to my portfolio and this blog. Anyways, I don’t know much about Firefly Themes, but I like what I’ve seen from them so far. My favorite part of this theme is the Slider, which is pretty easy to customize and get working without much effort. Deciding which posts to share is the hardest part, which really makes everything seem easy.

It was also super easy to add the social media icons, which I already had in a WordPress menu. Overall, it’s a clean modern look that definitely doesn’t feel dated. They even have a Pro version, which I might consider eventually if my financial situation magically improves. Until then, this post is my endorsement for at least one of their themes. It’s an attractive and easy-to-use WordPress theme that makes me finally feel my blog is up to date!
