New Design + more free music!

As much as I like the MyLovely theme by mythem.es, I really wanted some more features that would make this blog more interesting and customizable. I’ve decided (for now) to go with a cool feature packed free theme called Tempera by CryoutCreations, which has a really easy to use backend with tons of ways to customize colors and homepage features. It also has the magazine format I love so much, as well as sliders and tiles and cool stuff like that. The responsive design is also nice so that my blog works well and is optimized for a mobile browser.

Aside from lots of website stuff and trying to resist Boxing Day and Post-Christmas sales, I’ve been listening to a lot of free music from The Call (Love Is Everywhere EP for supporters of their live CD/DVD), CHVRCHES’s The Bones of What You Believe In (which I found out about from Consequence of Sound), and Austin Psych Fest and The Reverberation Appreciation Society record label’s 2013 sampler with this impressive list of artists:
