Neutrogena #WipeForWater Challenge
California has been in a severe drought for awhile and water conservation is more important than ever these days. Neutrogena has teamed up with Influenster to promote using Neutrogena Naturals purifying makeup remover cleansing towelettes. This is in place of washing makeup off in a campaign called the Wipe For Water Challenge, also part of Earth Month.
I got my pack of these wipes from Influenster right before a weekend trip to San Mateo a few weeks ago. Traveling is the ideal use for a product like this. When you are out or away from home, the easiest way to remove makeup is with wipes. These wipes worked well at removing makeup while also leaving my face with a nice clean feeling. The wipes themselves are really soft and are made of Peruvian Tara Seed bionutrient.
Another nice touch is that they support the Nature Conservancy in their US water conservation efforts. In turn, have their logo on the packaging. Just pledging to take the Wipe For Water challenge will help conserve water:
“For each pledge, Neutrogena® Naturals will contribute $1 to The Nature Conservancy to support water conservation, up to $50,000.”
These wipes definitely remove make up very gently and thoroughly. I hope my use of these wipes actually did help save 35 gallons of water, though I can’t say for sure that I did. The one thing I did notice is how effectively these wipes removed make up and how soft and clean my skin felt after!
