This was my second visit to Pappy and Harriet’s in Pioneertown, though it was a very different visit this time around. The main difference I felt was the temperature (though I’m sure that wasn’t the only difference). It was extremely hot this time around, and didn’t really get as cold as the last time I was there. But weather aside, it was a fun festival from the day I attended. I really only watched Ringo Deathstarr’s set, though I did see the Dandy Warhols from the side area with the tables.
We could hear Silent Pictures from there too (they sounded good), but we ended up leaving after the Dandys. The food was better than I remember it, though I forgot if I’d eaten at Pappy and Harriet’s before. Unfortunately, I missed the first day, so no David J & the Gentleman Thieves or Telescopes – maybe another day. It was still a good time hanging out with friends and getting out of the house for a bit.
