Trash Can Sinatras + San Francisco

My last trip to San Francisco was oodles of fun! We stayed at wonderful little motel in the Marina District called the Country Hearth Inn, though it’s also known as America’s Best Inn. I definitely recommend this place for many reasons: free parking, comfortable room and bed, safe area with lots of interesting places and restaurants within walking distance, free internet, good selection of Direct TV, and of course, reasonable rates!  My boyfriend is a little pickier than I am about hotel rooms, and he was happy with it too!

The Exploratorium and Palace of Fine Arts is within walking distance from Country Hearth Inn, though it was raining when we went. It has been years since I went there, but I always remember how much fun the Exploratorium is!  If you watch the video above, you can see some footage of Andrew exploring some of the cool exhibits. There’s also a bit of me talking about myself and why I like San Francisco. The project was supposed to be a bio about myself, but I kind of turned it into a travel video – which is what happens when you take a trip the week before it’s due! SAM_0136

And last but not least, the Trashcan Sinatras show at the Swedish American Music Hall was excellent!  I have really only seen them acoustic, but they are the perfect band to play that way. It was a truly amazing show, their music, vocals, and lyrics are just such a perfect mix and really do manage to connect with your emotions. I was a little late to the show since I didn’t know they wouldn’t have an opening band. The nice thing about that was that the show ended pretty early, which gave me plenty of time to hang out and talk to friends afterwards!
